Our last stop on our study abroad tour is Amsterdam. So far we have hit 6 countries and we will be spending 4 days in Amsterdam. So far upon arrival this city is amazing. Its incredible how biking is the preferred mode of transportation over cars. Even in the rain all the bikes are out. As a pedestrian you do need to be careful not to get hit by a bike as they do not stop for you. So far Amsterdam has been my favorite city we have visited. The canals are amazing and the people are really nice and friendly towards Americans. My class has been amazing, I am really getting along with everyone in my class and my roommate is great. I am starting to really get tired though, all these day trips are really wearing me out. We have one last day trip planned but I’m not sure if I will go on it. Although I am loving it here, I am ready to go home. I can’t imagine what a whole semester abroad would be like but this has been plenty long enough for me. I say this now but I’m sure once I get home I will want to come back so we will see. Other than that I am really glad I went and experienced all this. It was a really eye opening experience for me and I encourage everyone to do something similar. Everything from my professor, to my class, to the experiences I have had have made this such a memorable experience and I am so happy I had the chance to do this. I want to thank everyone who made this possible and if you are on the fence about going, I encourage you to go and do it. ITS SO WORTH IT!
