Looking back on the entirety of my trip, I am so grateful to have gotten this opportunity to not only meet new people but work alongside them as well. Three weeks was a great amount of time to be introduced to the Greek culture, and I can’t wait for when I can return. I learned so much about their history. I found my favorite matcha cafe for when I come back. I made friends that I can reach out to. I saw the city, the beach, experienced life as student in Greece, rode a metro for the first time in my life, and ate tons of amazing food! It is definitely an experience I will treasure forever. I helped with a project that will actually mean something to someone and make an impact in their life. I made friends with the students in my program, students who I may have never spoken to if not given this opportunity. I have been inspired to return to Europe and spend twice as much time immersing myself in the culture. I have loved every part of this experience, the good and the bad. Now that I have experienced life outside of the U.S. my perspective on the world has widened and it will never return to how it was. This has been my Monte Carlo, a dream come true.
