During my time in Germany and Prague for my study program, I discovered that food truly connects people in profound ways. Sharing meals with my classmates not only enhanced our friendships but also created lasting memories. Each meal felt like a bridge that linked our diverse backgrounds.

My first night in Germany, we tried the Sauerbraten at Augustiner with friends. The rich flavors of the dish were even more enjoyable in the company of others, making all 18 of us feel like one big family. We spent hours discussing our lives and studies, deepening our bonds over delicious food.

In Berlin, I befriended a girl from France and together we made fresh vegetable wraps. We combined our culinary styles, laughing together as we prepared the meal. The experience was more than just cooking; it was a beautiful fusion of our friendship and cultures unfolding over the dinner table.

While in Kutna Hora, Czech Republic, I tried Svíčková, which is marinated beef served with a creamy sauce and potato dumplings. One night in Prague, we shared hearty laughter when a server from Kazakhstan jokingly mixed up our ice cream orders, creating a lighthearted moment that brought everyone closer.

My travels taught me that food transcends borders and evokes emotions that unite us. Each shared meal revealed the joy of love, laughter, and connection, proving that food is the universal language that brings us together, regardless of our differences.
