As long as I can remember, my biggest dream was to see the world. As I am writing this, my dream is merely hours from coming true. I have never been outside of the country so there has been so many different emotions experienced leading up to this day. Days so full of excitement for what my May 2024 will look like, but also some so clouded by stress and anxiety from finals, work, and knowing that I am about to be on the other side of the globe from everything and everyone I have ever known. I have spent the last few months trying to figure out everything I would need for a month’s trip to Europe and how to possibly fit it all in one suitcase. From outlets to chargers and outfits for every city, I really do not know how I managed to keep my checked bag under 50 lbs. Although these last couple weeks of school have been some of the hardest I have experienced, I truly can not wait to see what the next few weeks hold for me. We are going to see so many different beautiful places, some I have dreamed of all my life and some I have heard of only through this trip and am now excited to see. I really did not and still really do not know much about Croatia so I am looking really looking forward. to seeing what it is like. I can not believe this is happening and that it is only hours away!
