I’ve officially been back in the US for one month. I wish I had more time there, but I’m glad I’m home at the same time. One thing I will say for anyone going abroad – eat as much as you want because the food is to die for. I miss Italian food sooo much. Even in Barcelona, Spain, the Italian food was 10x better than anything I’ve had in the US, but always for a much better price. Other than the food, I love how easy it is to travel there, between cities and in the cities themselves. I never had trouble in Barcelona getting from one place to another. Basically, I now want to move to Europe, and being abroad might make you want the same thing 🙂 I’ll leave off by saying get out of your comfort zone and you’ll have a lot of fun. For example, I’m not competitive and I hadn’t played soccer since kindergarten, but I joined my programs soccer league, and I made friends and had a lot of fun. I have no regrets from my time abroad, and I’m really glad I had the opportunity and chose to go. I’d do it again in a heartbeat if I could.
