Haylee Elizabeth Pack
This morning, I visited Holyrood Palace, one of my favorite stops from my last trip. It still holds that same magic for me. As a longtime fan of Mary Queen of Scots, walking through the rooms where she lived and learning more about her history always feels surreal.
Afterwards, we went on a bit of a last-minute souvenir spree, picking up gifts for friends and family (and, of course, a few things for myself). Later that evening, Kate and I took a quiet night stroll around the flat, soaking in the city one last time. There was something bittersweet about the walk. A mix of gratitude and the ache of saying goodbye.
After a bit of late-night packing, I tucked myself into bed early, knowing we had an early flight. As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn’t help but replay the trip in my head, feeling so grateful for the memories we’d made and the pieces of the city I’ll carry home with me.
