After traveling for the past two weeks, I realized how different living in the United States is from living in Europe! I had such a great experience and was able to do many new things within the past two weeks that I will forever cherish! I made new friends, traveled to new countries I’d never been to, and created many new memories and stories for me to share with others. My professor, Dr. Lopez, also ensured that this experience wasn’t just sitting in a classroom but also having a chance to explore the world. Because of him, I could travel to 8 countries in two weeks. Yes, two weeks! Even though I was constantly traveling within this short time, I discovered how different people live their lives compared to me, thus making me grateful for who I am surrounded with and how lucky I am as a person! Last night, 5/25/25, we all had a final dinner in Amsterdam, Netherlands, as a class! We each shared our highs and lows and what we would do differently if we returned to Europe. We had very similar experiences, thus repeating a theme as we went around the dinner table! The experiences that everyone has had are something that everyone will cherish in their lives and will forever look back upon. I am super grateful that I could go on this trip, as it has impacted me personally and professionally as a student, making me more aware of how different everyone is and that everyone has various points of view on the world!
