My friend, Dima, and I have been lucky enough to study at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in the Department of Music Studies. It’s been an unforgettable experience so far. One of the most exciting parts of our program has been taking part in preparations for a major event. They have a music festival coming up that celebrates the university’s 100th anniversary! As part of our responsibilities, we’re focusing on ways to improve advertising and outreach for the festival to help ensure its success.
To gather some insights, we conducted a survey targeting students. We passed them out during class time and have already received around 50 responses! Students shared their opinions on the current advertising strategies and gave us fresh ideas on how to better promote the festival. Their suggestions have been incredibly helpful, and we have noticed several differences in the culture! It’s been great seeing how enthusiastic everyone is about this celebration.
In addition to the survey, Dima and I will also be featured in a short promotional film. The film will showcase the beauty of the campus, highlight cultural diversity, and promote the university to potential future students. I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
Outside of our academic responsibilities, we’ve also had the chance to explore the city. From visiting museums to enjoying long walks through Thessaloniki’s streets, every moment has been so much fun! I’ve made so many amazing friends and have learned more than I ever expected. This has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m so proud to be part of it!
