Experiencing the world and discovering something new offers opportunities that aren’t available to everyone, making my feelings about traveling abroad even more appreciative and exciting. For most of our lives, we exist within a norm, whether it pertains to culture or lifestyle, and stepping into the culture of others can feel very uncomfortable. However, I’ve realized that the world is much bigger than any individual, and life holds far greater value when you truly experience it for yourself. Each day offers another chance to learn, grow, and assist yourself and others. Ever since I was little, I have had no doubt about my desire to travel abroad, and the idea of doing so while still in school made everything ten times more exciting. I am most excited to connect and build stronger relationships with my peers because we all share a common love for new experiences. I am eager for the professional atmosphere and international business culture with major companies. Lastly, I look forward to making unforgettable memories and enriching my opportunity to grow my confidence as an individual. As I sit here, hours before leaving and checking everything off my to-do list, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. It’s one thing to create a dream list, but it is another to truly be living it. I can’t thank God enough for the many blessings of abundance and for the amazing experience everyone is about to have.
