Seoul, South Korea, you have been an unforgettable chapter in my life. As I say goodbye, my heart is filled with gratitude for the kindness and warmth of the people I met here. From the friendly strangers who offered directions with a smile, to the friends who shared their lives with me, every interaction left an imprint on my soul. Your generosity and hospitality have redefined what it means to be kind to others.

The culture, with its deep roots in tradition and modernity, has been nothing short of inspiring. Whether I was wandering through ancient palaces, savoring a bowl of steaming bibimbap, or marveling at the cutting-edge technology, Seoul seamlessly blended the old and new, reminding me of my hometown of New Orleans.

I will miss many things—the sound of the subway announcements, the beautiful hanbok on display, the endless rows of cafes, and the quiet beauty of Namsan Tower lit up against the night sky. But what I will miss most are the people who made this city feel like home. My many friends from across the world; I wish the best of luck to you. I will use the insights I gained from my experience in Korea and apply them to my future academics becoming an international lawyer.

Though I’m leaving, Seoul will always hold a piece of my heart. I will cherish the memories and carry them with me wherever I go. This isn’t goodbye; it’s just a “see you later.”
