This past Friday, I visited one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. We went on a catamaran to Anguilla, a British-owned island. The beach we stopped at, called Prickly Pear, was so tranquil. It had beautiful white sand and calm turquoise water. I could only see two restaurants in the distance, and there were no loud bars. It was secluded, as you could only get there by boat. There wind danced on your skin, and the waves could rock you to sleep. The only discomfort I felt was when I had to take pictures on the hard sand on my knees. The pain we go through to look cute, right? Besides that, of course, I could’ve stayed there all day, honestly. When they took us to another swimming spot, I actually got out in the ocean. I can’t swim, so I did start freaking out and immediately went back on the boat, but I’m proud of myself for even getting in the ocean. I told myself before coming here I would try things I usually don’t do. It’s time to face my fears. The staff made us very comfortable and were super easygoing. This catamaran was more enjoyable than our first one because everyone was more comfortable with each other and was entirely themselves. In the first week, everyone was quite nervous. We were figuring each other out what to say and what not to say. However, this catamaran was a much-needed chill, laid-back day, and we connected with one another even more.
