Some of my most fond memories of being in Athens, Greece is exploring the city with all my new friends. Every time we would leave our hotel, we would stumble into the neatest restaurants or shops. We got to see different neighborhoods and meet different people through all our adventures. I do not know many people that have gotten the chance to spend as much time in Athens as I did. I will always cherish this unique opportunity to and remember all the ways I learned about the culture and customs of the people.
I learned that you can have a good time on a trip without a packed itinerary, and sometimes it’s nice to have a day or two carved out just for free time or exploring. Although it’s beneficial to do some research on the in which you will be staying and the spots you want to check out, I believe it’s important to be open-minded too because you never know what you might find once you get there!
