So, I have been here for about a month and a half, not even half way through my journey, but to be honest I am kind of dreading its conclusion already. I have been having such a fun time in The Hague and I really can not recommend this location enough. It is a big city, about 500,000 strong, but it is so easy to navigate and get around do to a combination of biking and public transport. the biggest negative attribute I hear about this city is that it is boring, but I have not found that to be the case at all, I always have something to do with new found friends or school. The last thing I have been thinking about since I have been here is that I have too much time on my hands with nothing to do. With that said, I would like to say that with anything, your situation is what you make it, I am sure there are people in my program who think differently. I feel like The Hague is the perfect fit for me. Which is surprising considering the lack of preparation I put into picking the city I wanted to go to. With all of this said, I am really enjoying my time here, it has been full of new experiences, new people, and personal development. I hope that everyone is having as much fun studying abroad as I am. Until next time, Roll Tide. (attached is a picture of me and a friend at the Peace Palace, about a half mile from my house.)
