After the entire day of traveling which included the change in time zones and going through customs, I made it home after 17 hours. It was a pleasure to have this opportunity to study abroad in Europe, it being my first time visiting all of the countries that I traveled to during this trip.

I never thought I would be able to study abroad as an accounting major but I feel so lucky to have the UA facility led program in Europe. The people I met from this trip will stay close to my heart and I look forward to finishing up my classes at UA with my new traveling buddies beside me. As for the professors that went abroad with our class, I enjoyed their presence inside the classroom and as we toured these new places.

I have always jumped at chance to travel whenever I could but going with the university and a group of students that I mostly didn’t know was a great experience.

The first day being back in the states was Memorial Day for me and I found jet lag to play a  large role in my day. I woke up at 4:30AM after falling asleep at midnight because the time change accustomed my body to get up when it was 9AM in Greece. Although it was early I wasn’t tired and I was able to get a ton of stuff done before anyone else even woke up to start their day. All in all I will take jet lag in exchange for traveling the world.
