Last week, we were in Prague, Czech Republic. After a very long flight, we landed Thursday afternoon at the Prague airport and hit the ground running. We had a great week in Prague. The Old Town area was beautiful and it was so great seeing things such as the astronomical clock, Old Town Square clock tower, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, and the John Lennon Wall. Last Tuesday, we flew to Paris for a day trip. We left at 5:00 a.m. and got back around midnight so it was a long day but it was a very cool day. We climbed to the top of the Arc de Triumphe, walked around the outside of the Lourve museum, and seeing the Eiffel Tower was super cool. Also while in Paris, we ate at a street side cafe and I got to get an authentic French creme brulee, something I have been looking forward to for months. After Paris, we went to Dresden, Germany for a day and it is also a really cool city. Dresden was destroyed during World War 2 and has been rebuilt to look exactly as it did before the war. It was really neat seeing all the interesting architecture in the city and I would love to go back one day. The next city we stayed in was Vienna, Austria. Vienna is an extremely beautiful old city and it has a charm about it that is unrivaled. Out of all the cities we visited, Vienna has to be my favorite.
