Though my time in Cambodia was nearing its end I was experiencing mixed emotions about leaving the country that had been my home for the last 10 days. It was hot in Cambodia – my sweat glands had become little orifices of Niagara Falls. I wanted to see my parents so badly, but I also wanted to stay and relish the foreign culture of Cambodia.
Regardless, my parents were excited to see me at the airport. I was excited to see them after suffering a 23 hour flight home.
Everyone was overwhelmingly intrigued to hear about what I had seen and done in Cambodia – I was excited to tell. I will always remember Cambodia, its people, and what they taught me.
